Carbisdale Castle Youth Hostel
Carbisdale Castle has low cost accommodation for approximatately 189 guests. There are 29 bunkrooms ranging from 2-16 beds, all with toilets and shower facilities located nearby. The castle's primary functions is that of a youth hostel and the accomodation is designed accordingly. Self catering is available in the hostel's two well equipped kitchens and two small dining rooms. Other facilities include laundry, drying room, games room, TV room, lounge and a shop.
The Castle has large collections of art and Italian marble statuary on display in the main gallery; an excellent area for a champagne reception. In addition, ther are two large public and dining rooms each with a seating capacity of 100-120. A magnificent carved wooden staircase leads to the upper gallery which can easily accommodate a larger function.
