Haddo House
Few homes of such style and grandeur are as welcoming as Haddo.
Haddo, designed in 1732 by William Adam, is one of the finest examples of the Palladian style in Scotland. With its breathtaking views down the magnificent avenue of lime trees and homely feel, Haddo is an impressive venue for entertaining.
The light, spacious and airy rooms give the house its palatial feel.
The Dining Room, with its splendid collection of family portraits and silver, is a truly unique room in which to entertain 30 guests. The spacious Library, with its cedar and ebony bookcases, is a stunning room to hold either a drinks reception (120) or a dinner (90). Haddo also has a beautiful ecumenical chapel that is a very special place in which to hold a ceremony (100). On fine evenings guests may wander from the house
to the formal terraced garden and herbaceous borders. The Victorian Hall adjacent to the house can accommodate ceilidhs and larger dinners for up to 150.
