HIGHLANDS & ISLE OF SKYE
This very special three-day tour unfolds to show you Scotland's West Coast scenery at its very best, including a wonderful full-day excursion to the fabled Isle of Skye!
Day One
Braveheart and Bonnie Banks
Departing from Edinburgh or Glasgow, our first stop is at majestic Stirling Castle, to hear the story about the real "Braveheart" - Sir William Wallace. We'll then enjoy a scenic tour along the "Bonnie, Bonnie Banks" of Loch Lomond. A drive over lonely Rannoch Moor brings us to the dramatic scenery of Glen Coe, scene of the terrible massacre in 1692. Our travels continue through the Great Glen then along the entire length of Loch Ness (keep a close watch, just in case!) to Inverness.

Day Two
The Isle, Castles and Monsters
Today we enjoy the highlight of our tour - a full day excursion to the beautiful island of Skye. We'll visit Eilean Donan Castle, perched on its island at the head of Loch Duich. You will marvel at the views of Skye from the castle ramparts, but soon we'll be crossing "over the sea to Skye" and driving through the island to Portree, the island's pretty main town.

Day Three
Golfers and a wee dram!
After breakfast we enjoy a spectacular drive through the Spey Valley to the Drumochter Pass and onwards to the rolling Perthshire hills. Our first visit is to delightful Edradour malt whisky distillery, where we’ll discover how “the water of life” is produced - there is even a taste of the end product! Our next visit is to St Andrews, known as the home of golf. You’ll be free to visit the famed Old Course or simply stroll around this attractive university town. The coach pauses at pretty South Queensferry to admire the view over the Firth of Forth before making the short drive to Edinburgh or Glasgow.
